As a Technical Catalyst Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in collaborating with chemists and engineers to develop optimal technical designs for sulfuric acid and styrene catalysts. Your expertise will ensure that these designs meet competitive market needs, driving business growth and profitability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Technical Design and Solutions:
    • Collaborate with chemists and engineers to develop optimal technical designs for sulfuric acid and styrene catalysts.
    • Ensure designs meet competitive market needs.
    • Collaborate with research and development for continual improvement of catalyst technologies.
  • Customer Support in India and Southeast Asia:
    • Provide professional services to catalyst customers, including supervision of catalyst filling and plant start-up.
    • Troubleshoot issues and conduct onsite measurements to maintain high customer satisfaction.
    • Regularly communicate with customers to gather feedback and insights.
  • Performance Warranty Development:
    • Create comprehensive performance warranty offerings.
    • Develop value-price proposals that communicate the benefits of catalysts.
    • Collaborate with marketing teams for product launch strategies.
  • Technical Consultation and Documentation:
    • Provide expert consultation on catalyst applications and performance optimization.
    • Prepare and update operational manuals and procedures.
    • Maintain documentation of operational data and quality records.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's or master's degree in chemical engineering or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years in the chemical industry with at least 3 years in chemical plant operations.
  • Skills and Qualifications:
    • Strong understanding of catalyst technology and its applications.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks accordingly.
