Job Title: Equine Education Professional">

As an Equine Education Professional, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality horse riding lessons to students of all levels. Your role will involve teaching safe and enjoyable riding practices, preparing students for competitions, and promoting their progress through the BHS course program.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver riding lessons to students of all levels, from beginner courses to advanced riders.
  • Prepare students for monthly competitions and assist them on show days.
  • Encourage students to become more involved in the riding section through Pony Club, additional lessons, leases, and competing at shows.
  • Maintain rider lists and colour levels, reviewing and updating them quarterly.
  • Conduct rider assessments, teach beginner courses, and participate in clinics to develop riding and teaching skills.
  • Progress qualifications through the BHS course program up to Stage 3 SM.
  • Report issues regarding horse behavior or welfare.
  • Attend weekly department meetings and contribute to stable management.
Requirements:
  • Possess a British Horse Society's Assistant Instructor (BHS AI) Certificate or equivalent qualification.
  • Demonstrate good interpersonal skills to deliver high-quality customer care.
  • Enjoy teaching at all levels, from beginners to competitive riders.
