Mathematics Instructional Specialist

We are seeking a driven and passionate individual to join our team as a Mathematics Instructional Specialist. This full-time role will involve delivering exceptional mathematics instruction to primary school students, as well as gaining exposure to business management responsibilities.

Job Description:

The Mathematics Instructional Specialist will be responsible for designing and implementing engaging mathematics lessons to meet the needs of diverse learners. Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and delivering high-quality mathematics instruction to primary school students
  • Monitoring student progress and providing individualised support to ensure academic success
  • Collaborating with teaching colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies
  • Contributing to the development of teaching materials and resources
  • Participating in staff meetings, training, and professional development opportunities

In addition to the above responsibilities, the Mathematics Instructional Specialist will assist with administrative tasks and business operations as part of a management trainee programme. Lesson plans will be provided, and materials will be made available.

Requirements:

To be considered for this role, applicants must possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Diploma or relevant certificate in mathematics education
  • Ability to teach up to preschool level
  • Primary/Secondary teaching experience is a plus but not required
  • Strong subject knowledge and ability to explain mathematical concepts effectively
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Passion for education and commitment to student success
