Project Title: Infusion of Pop Culture for Mathematics Instruction [RS 1/23 TTL]

Project Introduction: This project explores the infusion of pop culture for mathematics instruction in the mathematics classrooms. The objective of this project includes a review of existing literature on (mass) communication model and explore how it can provide an alternative framework in mathematics education through instruction that infuses various types of pop culture.

**Requirements**:
The research assistant (RA) for this project must
- Have a basic degree from a reputable university.
- Conduct literature review from mathematics education communication studies.
- Do an annotated bibliography.
- Assist the PI to do write-ups.

The RA will also be tasked look for resources online on exemplars of various forms of innovative approach to teaching mathematics, especially those that infuse pop culture.

**Responsibilities**:
[1] Conduct literature review

[2] Do an annotated bibliography of literature from various assigned fields related to mathematics education

[3] Soure for online resources and other hardcopy resources as required by the PI

[4] Assist the PI in writing up sections of themes allocated by the PI

[5] Liaise with school teachers (if applicable).

[6] Other duties as assigned by Principal Investigators.
