We are looking for a talented professional to join our research team in the field of air traffic management.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in optimization techniques and machine learning models relevant to transportation systems. Experience in Air Traffic Management (ATM) systems and/or aviation is highly valued but not required.

The role involves conducting research on various aspects of ATM, including data analysis, algorithm development, and simulation validation. The successful candidate will have excellent programming skills in Python, Java, or C/C++, as well as good English writing and communication skills.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for collecting, processing, and analyzing air traffic data, developing predictive algorithms using Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, and collaborating with industry and academic partners to integrate AI models into ATM decision support systems.

In addition to your technical expertise, you will need to be a proactive and self-starter who can work independently and as part of a team. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct research on optimization techniques and machine learning models relevant to transportation systems.
  • Develop predictive algorithms using Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning applied to domains that use historical data to train the AI/ML model.
  • Analyze simulation data and create visualizations to support research findings.
  • Design and build prototypes or intelligent tools.
  • Collaborate effectively with industry and academic partners to integrate AI models into ATM decision support systems.
Requirements:
  • Degree / Advanced degree in Optimization, Artificial Intelligence, Software, Transportation or Aerospace Engineering.
  • Evidence of creation of predictive algorithms using Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning applied to domains that use historical data to train the AI/ML model.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years' experience.
  • Strong programming skills in Python, Java, C/C++.
  • Good English writing and communication skills for research work.
  • Proactive and a self-starter.
  • Independent and team player.
