Air traffic management innovation specialists develop cutting-edge technology to optimize air traffic flow and improve safety.

This role involves researching, designing, and implementing innovative solutions to complex air traffic management challenges.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting research on optimization techniques and machine learning models relevant to transportation systems
  • Collecting, processing, and analysing air traffic data relevant to the project
  • Developing or using existing simulation platforms to validate the developed algorithms and models
  • Analysing simulation data and creating visualizations to support research findings
  • Designing and building prototypes or intelligent tools
  • Collaborating effectively with industry and academic partners to integrate AI models into ATM decision support systems
  • Participating in project meetings, preparing research reports, and contributing to high-impact publications in leading academic conferences and journals
  • Assisting in drafting project proposals and preparing technical documentation
  • Supporting the Lead Research Manager on assigned project management tasks
Requirements:
  • A degree or advanced degree in Optimization, Artificial Intelligence, Software, Transportation, or Aerospace Engineering
  • Evidence of creation of predictive algorithms using Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning applied to domains that use historical data, to train the AI/ML model
  • Minimum of 2-3 years' experience
  • Strong programming skills in Python, Java, C/C++
  • Good English writing and communication skills for research work
  • Proactive and a self-starter
  • Independent and team player
  • Singaporean Citizenship
