Service Engineer Role

This role involves providing technical support and maintenance services to ensure the smooth operation of ACMV/HVAC systems. The candidate will be responsible for performing assigned tasks, troubleshooting issues, and escalating unresolved problems.

  • Support daily service operations by ensuring timely deployment of technicians and resources.
  • Carry out assigned tasks, including repairs, maintenance, and troubleshooting under close supervision.
  • Provide timely updates and escalate unresolved technical issues.

Technical Assistance

  • Support in troubleshooting and servicing of air-conditioning and mechanical ventilation equipment.
  • Assist in site inspections, testing, and commissioning activities.
  • Document technical findings and submit service reports for review.

Coordination & Communication

  • Liaise with internal teams, contractors, and vendors to ensure smooth workflows.
  • Assist in scheduling and follow-up of preventive and corrective maintenance works.
  • Coordinate with clients on-site when directed by senior management.

Administrative & Reporting Duties

  • Prepare and update service logs, job reports, and equipment checklists.
  • Maintain proper records of tools, spare parts, and consumables used during service works.
  • Provide input for quotations, proposals, and technical documentation as assigned.

Education & Experience

The ideal candidate should have a Diploma or NITEC/Higher NITEC in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Services, or a related field. Strong technical certifications in ACMV/HVAC systems are highly valued.

A minimum of 1-3 years of relevant experience in service, maintenance, or installation of ACMV/HVAC systems is preferred. Fresh graduates or entry-level candidates with relevant internship/industrial attachment experience are encouraged to apply.

Familiarity with safety procedures, permit-to-work systems, and industry practices is an advantage.
