Technical Support Specialist

The primary goal of this role is to minimize downtime, reduce service call frequency, and ensure a high first-time fix rate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Quickly diagnose issues and perform repairs efficiently with necessary parts on hand.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with customers, manage expectations, and handle difficult situations with patience and empathy.
  • Implement preventive maintenance schedules, advise customers on best practices, and identify potential issues before they cause problems.
  • Keep accurate records of all service activities, including repairs, installations, and maintenance.
  • Provide valuable feedback from the field to internal teams, leading to improvements in product design, installation processes, and overall service delivery.

Requisite Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong foundation in technical fields such as mechanical, electrical, software, and networking.
  • Ability to read schematics, use diagnostics tools, and troubleshoot complex systems.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to build trust and rapport with customers.
  • Capacity to work independently, prioritize tasks, and make sound decisions without constant supervision.
  • Adaptability to learn new technologies and adapt to different work environments.
