Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to join a corporate team as a Client Solutions Director, focusing on Sustainability. The role will drive sales efforts globally with clients in this sector, building out the partner offering and securing new partners for the Global Sustainable Development Congress.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish relationships with corporate companies to find, engage, and nurture a client base.
  • Develop innovative solutions that meet client needs and position your organization as a market leader.
  • Log activity and pipeline in Salesforce, maintaining regular communication with management.
  • Maintain a comprehensive database of client contact details.
  • Monitor the competitor landscape in the region and drive service development based on results and competitive developments.
  • Resolve customer issues by investigating problems, developing solutions, and making recommendations to management.
  • Maintain professional knowledge by attending educational workshops and reviewing publications.
  • Contribute to the team effort by reaching personal financial targets and supporting the broader events team.
  • Attend industry events to maintain relationships with clients and develop new ones.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Proven extensive sales experience in live or digital events, with a focus on the Sustainability sector.
  • Ability to quickly grasp new concepts and understand the value proposition for different groups of prospective clients.
  • Confident and independent self-starter who can hit the ground running.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with senior leaders from government, education, and industry.
  • Commercially astute and entrepreneurial outlook.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage workload effectively.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Passion for Education and Sustainability.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
