**About the position**:
We are looking for a **Director, Sustainability** with expertise in climate and environment and Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) reporting to join our Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) & Sustainability team in Singapore. Are you the one to continue to evolve us as a responsible company in all of our markets?
- As a Director, Sustainability, you will have the following responsibilities:_
- Drive the strategic work on climate and environment and ESG reporting in Telenor Asia.
- Follow up on the implementation of climate and environment initiatives in relevant OpCos.
- Research and work on the topic of climate enablement - how Telenor Asia can support customers and other stakeholders in reducing their own emissions, by way of our service and technology.
- Support robust data governance - collect and consolidate relevant Sustainability metrics and monitor risks.
- Collaborate with relevant functions to report sustainability-related performance to internal and external stakeholders.
- Support stakeholder engagement with key CSO, IGOs, government bodies and industry organizations in Asia on prioritized sustainability topics.
- Support Telenor Asia on strategic projects with relevant sustainability expertise (including potential M&A).
- We think you have the following qualifications and skills:_
- Master’s degree or equivalent in Sustainability, Public Policy, Climate Studies, Law, Business Management or similar. However, extensive experience can replace the requirement for formal education.
- 5+ years of experience working with corporate climate and environment and/or ESG reporting topics.
- Familiarity of sustainability/ESG reporting frameworks such as SASB, GRI and TCFD, as well as awareness of trends in reporting requirements. Experience with SGX reporting requirements is beneficial.
- Experience with international environmental policies and accounting standards such as the GHG Protocol.
- Strong understanding of relevant topics, such as climate science,

international climate/environment policy development, climate risk

assessment, and renewable energy. Knowledge of energy market

regulation in Telenor Asia’s footprint is beneficial.
- Proficiency in project management, ability to multi-task and produce high-quality deliverables, and manage and analyse sustainability related data. Experience with data visualization and data analysis tools such as Power BI is beneficial.
- Strong language skills, including excellent written and spoken English**. **An ability to effectively communicate with diverse groups of stakeholders, ranging from top management to external stakeholders is essential.
- Confidence to take ideas forward, communicate issues of complexity to a non-expert audience, and to build consensus.
- Demonstrated efficiency and prioritization while managing multiple

assignments in a fast-paced environment.

Telenor Asia is set up in Singapore, as an ownership unit to oversee four main operating companies (OpCo’s) in Malaysia, Thailand, Bangladesh and Pakistan. Telenor Asia is made up competency centers covering 1) Business Competency, 2) GRC, HSS & Sustainability, 3) External Relations and 4) People & Operations. In addition, there are Investment Manager teams responsible for each market.

The Sustainability team in Telenor Asia is responsible for driving the sustainability agenda in the Operating Companies (OpCos), building competencies, and ensuring delivery on commitments. Prioritized sustainability areas include (i) climate and environment, (ii) business and human rights, and (iii) leveraging partnerships to build digital skills.
