Senior Nursing Leader Job

The Senior Nursing Leader plays a key part in leading and motivating the nursing team while maintaining the highest standards of clinical care and operational excellence.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Leadership & Team Management:
    • Lead and manage the Nursing Department effectively.
    • Supervise and guide care staff to deliver quality care and services aligned with organisational standards.
    • Oversee and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams.
    • Evaluate and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
    • Develop duty rosters, manage leave, and allocate resources.
  • Patient Care:
    • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care according to residents' evolving needs.
    • Manage patient transitions from acute to step-down care settings smoothly.
    • Administer prescribed treatments and lead therapeutic programs.
    • Provide health education, counseling, and support for residents and their families.
  • Clinical Development & Training:
    • Mentor, coach, and supervise nursing staff to enhance clinical competence and professional growth.
    • Conduct training sessions, competency assessments, and clinical audits for continuous improvement.
    • Develop training materials and contribute to curriculum design when necessary.
    • Participate in product evaluations, research, and initiatives that improve care delivery outcomes.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Valid registration with the Singapore Nursing Board (SNB).
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar leadership role.
  • Excellent leadership and people management skills.
  • Strong clinical knowledge and expertise.
  • Proficiency in software systems used in clinical and administrative settings.
