Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Fund Administrator to join our team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in the administration of private capital funds.

The Fund Administrator will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of fund transactions, including processing and record-keeping of capital calls, distributions, subscriptions, redemptions, and transfers of shares/units/ownership interest. Additionally, they will review and analyze documents received in relation to direct or indirect investments before processing/instructing related payments.

The Fund Administrator will also be responsible for reconciling assets and market valuations, ensuring all PC transactions have been executed on dedicated platforms, and maintaining fund accounting records. They will prepare client reporting on a monthly/quarterly basis and assist in the onboarding of new assets, including system setup, review of documentation, and liaising with internal and external counterparties.

Requirements:
  • A strong technical background incorporating aspects of valuation of assets, impacts on fund accounting, and financial reporting.
  • Alternative investment experience within the alternative investment industry is an advantage.
  • Ability to foster and maintain strong interpersonal relationships both internally and externally.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to work well individually and within a small team environment.
