Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a Childcare Financial Assistance Officer. As an Admin Processing Officer, you will be responsible for assessing applicants' eligibility for childcare financial assistance and recommending the amount and duration of assistance.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Assess applicants' eligibility based on scheme criteria: You will review applicants' information and assess their eligibility for childcare financial assistance based on our scheme criteria.
  2. Process online applications: You will navigate through different systems to process online applications and manage appeals and queries from parents and childcare operators.
  3. Manage appeals and queries: You will provide administrative support to the team by managing appeals and queries from parents and childcare operators.
  4. Work closely with colleagues: You will work closely with colleagues in the childcare services department to ensure that all applications are processed efficiently and effectively.
  5. Provide administrative support: You will provide administrative support to the team by triaging emails and appeals.
  6. Collate data and report findings: You will collate data and report findings in PowerPoint and Excel formats.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in any discipline: A bachelor's degree in any discipline is required for this role.
  • Detail-oriented with strong numerical skills: You must have excellent numerical skills and be detail-oriented.
  • Previous administrative experience: Previous administrative experience, preferably in grants processing, is preferred.

Skills:

  • Childcare management: You must have knowledge of childcare management practices and procedures.
  • Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel): You must be proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Social services and social work: Knowledge of social services and social work principles is desirable.
