Childcare Assistant Job

We are seeking a caring and dedicated Childcare Assistant to support our childcare program. As a Childcare Assistant, you will be responsible for providing quality care and support to infants or toddlers, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain a consistent daily routine that promotes each child's sense of security and independence.
  • Observe and record each child's development, identifying areas of strength and need for support.
  • Cleanliness is key: sustain an organized and safe environment that adheres to established health and safety standards.
  • Work collaboratively with other childcare professionals to deliver high-quality care and services.
Requirements:
  • Fundamental Certificate in Early Childhood Education or higher would be beneficial.
  • Demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Show a positive attitude towards work and have the initiative to learn and grow.
  • Able to work independently as well as part of a team.
Essential Qualities:
  • Ability to build rapport with children, colleagues, and parents.
  • Excellent observation and documentation skills.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in responding to changing situations.
  • Basic knowledge of Montessori principles and practices.
