**Childcare Financial Assistance Officer Role Summary:**

This is a rewarding opportunity for an organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Childcare Financial Assistance Officer.

The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing applicants' eligibility for childcare financial assistance and recommending the amount and duration of assistance.

  • Assess applicant eligibility based on scheme criteria: Review applicants' information and assess their eligibility for childcare financial assistance based on our scheme criteria.
  • Process online applications: Navigate through different systems to process online applications and manage appeals and queries from parents and childcare operators.
  • Manage appeals and queries: Provide administrative support to the team by managing appeals and queries from parents and childcare operators.
  • Work closely with colleagues: Collaborate with colleagues in the childcare services department to ensure all applications are processed efficiently and effectively.
  • Provide administrative support: Triage emails and appeals to provide administrative support to the team.
  • Collate data and report findings: Compile data and present findings in PowerPoint and Excel formats.

**Required Skills and Qualifications:**

  • Bachelor's degree in any discipline: A bachelor's degree in any field is required for this role.
  • Detail-oriented with strong numerical skills: Possess excellent numerical skills and be detail-oriented.
  • Previous administrative experience: Previous administrative experience, preferably in grants processing, is preferred.
