Business Development Opportunities

We are seeking a Business Development Partner to play a key role in the expansion of our business. The successful candidate will collaborate with our team to identify and engage strategic partners, employers, and collaborators to create new opportunities.

The Role
  • A key collaborator to our team, working closely with Career Consultants, Team Leaders, and Business Manager.
  • Partner with Team Leaders to mentor and support the Consulting Team, addressing gaps in industrial knowledge, reverse profiling, and nominations for caseload progressions.
  • Identify, engage, and work with strategic partners, employers, and collaborators to create new opportunities, including intermediaries such as professional bodies, trade associations, and chambers.
  • Develop an employer engagement strategy for covered sectors to build and maintain strong company partnerships within targeted industries.
  • Establish, grow, and maintain relationships with companies and organisations within relevant sectors.
  • Meet pre-determined Key Performance Indicators to maximise employment outcomes and ongoing support targets by team members.
Requirements
  • Proven track record in B2B or B2C partnering with employers, handling recruiters/recruitments.
  • Good industrial knowledge within specific grow sectors is a plus point.
  • Good understanding of labour markets, government funding, and programmes, especially for Mid-Career Switchers.
  • Evidence of offsetting and achieving targets across broad KPI ranges.
  • Hunter mentality, actively soliciting new accounts (employers) and building long-term relationships.
  • Team player with good interpersonal skills, particularly rapport-building, listening, questioning, influencing skills.
  • Strong communication (written and verbal at professional levels) and interpersonal skills, with a confident persona that enables trust and credibility.
  • Fast learner and self-starter, able to adapt to fast-changing environments, develop industrial knowledge and relationships, and become recognised as an Industrial Expertise.
Qualifications
  • Minimum Bachelor's Degree, Diploma, or Tertiary education in any discipline.
  • Consistent career track record.
