Job Title: Cost Estimation Specialist

We are seeking a skilled professional to fill the role of Cost Estimation Specialist. In this position, you will be responsible for preparing and analyzing cost estimates, obtaining quotations from suppliers and subcontractors, and measuring quantities.

  • Prepare and analyze cost estimates for construction projects by reviewing project specifications, drawings, and requirements.
  • Measure quantities of materials, labor, equipment, and other resources needed for projects using various measurement techniques.
  • Procure quotations from suppliers and subcontractors through tendering processes.
  • Compile bill of quantities (BQ) and preliminary quantity management (PQM) for tenders based on project requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cost Planning: Prepare detailed cost estimates by analyzing project specifications, drawings, and requirements.
  • Quantity Measurement: Measure quantities of materials, labor, equipment, and other resources needed for projects.
  • Procurement: Obtain quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
  • Estimating: Compile BQ and PQM for tenders.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or related field.
  • Proven experience in cost estimation and quantity surveying.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods and materials.
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills.
