Cost Estimator for Data Center Projects

Our organization seeks an experienced cost estimator to join its team in the Asia-Pacific region. This position will be a key member of our data center operations team, working closely with various stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely cost estimates for data center projects.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in data center construction and/or telecommunications/data center industry, with expertise in white space fit-outs, including rack, cage, electrical distribution, and data cable infrastructure. They should also possess advanced analytical and quantitative skills, as well as excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Responsibilities include developing installation cost estimates for data center projects, analyzing vendor quotes, maintaining a database of unit costs, and identifying opportunities for cost reduction. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, able to prioritize tasks effectively, and work well under pressure.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Minimum 7 years of experience in data center construction and/or telecommunications/data center industry
- Expert level knowledge of white space fit-outs, including rack, cage, electrical distribution, and data cable infrastructure
- Advanced analytical and quantitative skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
