We are seeking an experienced Safety and Environmental Control Officer to join our team. This role is responsible for ensuring safety and environmental compliance across our construction sites.

Job Description

This is a great opportunity for a professional with strong knowledge of local safety regulations and environmental requirements to play a key role in maintaining workplace safety and hygiene standards.

  • Oversee and implement Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) policies and procedures on-site.
  • Conduct regular safety audits, risk assessments, and site inspections.
  • Lead safety briefings, toolbox meetings, and training sessions for site staff.
  • Monitor and enforce compliance with regulatory and statutory requirements.
  • Perform duties as an Environmental Control Officer (ECO), ensuring environmental and hygiene measures are in place.
  • Prepare safety reports, incident investigations, and documentation.
  • Coordinate with project teams, contractors, and authorities to resolve safety and environmental issues.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Valid WSHO (Workplace Safety & Health Officer) Certification.
  • Valid ECO (Environmental Control Officer) Certification.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in the construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of local safety regulations and environmental requirements.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
