Job Title: Workplace Safety and Environmental Control Manager

As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that all contracts awarded meet the required workplace safety and environmental performance standards.

This position involves ensuring project delivery complies with all applicable legislative safety, health, and environmental requirements in Singapore.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain a comprehensive Safety, Health, and Environmental system.
  • Implement and manage electronic Permit to Work (ePTW) systems as required by clients.
  • Develop and implement a Workplace Safety and Health program for new workers, including identification systems for qualified personnel and operators.
  • Attend SHE coordination meetings, plan work sequences, identify incompatible works and risks/hazards, and develop site maps for delivery and storage improvements.
  • Handle near-miss, accident, and incident reporting, and propose remedial measures to prevent recurrence.
  • Prepare, maintain, and manage Project Safety, Health, and Environment Systems (SHES), including monthly reports.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Degree or Diploma in an Engineering discipline.
  • WSQ Specialist Diploma in Workplace Safety and Health or higher is highly desirable.
  • Minimum 10 years post-registered Workplace Safety & Health Officer experience with MOM is highly desired.
  • Registered Environmental Control Officer (ECO) with NEA is highly desired.
  • Relevant work experience in railway projects is preferred.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical solutions practically and understandably.
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
