
Senior Business Development Professional

We are seeking a seasoned professional to drive business growth and development across Asia, Australia, and Oceania. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for originating new business, managing client relationships, and positioning the bank for prominent financing roles on local projects.
About the Role- You will independently establish and continuously develop business relationships with potential customers to generate an ongoing, profitable flow of new business based on tailored offers.
- You will develop new markets and identify business opportunities across all sectors in accordance with our business and risk strategy.
- You will serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing both business-specific and general support.
- You will develop and implement a sales strategy for respective potential customers and target markets.
- You will closely cooperate with colleagues from project management teams, structuring and portfolio management, and other internal interfaces to close deals.
- You will regularly exchange information within the department and with relevant interfaces regarding risk, market, and product developments.
- You will reinforce our brand awareness by participating in industry events and conferences.
- You will continually develop sector, industry, and regional expertise and transfer knowledge to team members.
- You must have a proven track record in initiating and structuring new business in a lead role within a deal team, with previous successes in originating lead arranger business.
- You must possess skills and experience to provide (new) customers with competent and reliable knowledge of our key capabilities and achieve sustainable success in sales.
- You should have good knowledge of the infrastructure market and ideally, knowledge of other sectors and common financing structures/products.
- You must have knowledge of international corporate, project, and export finance.
- You must be able to balance customer needs with commercial and risk considerations.
- You must have a 'can-do' mentality, confidence in communication, strong acquisition and negotiation skills, and ability to make decisions and create a sense of structure and reliability.
- You must be willing to travel frequently for business, domestically and abroad.
- You must possess business-level English language proficiency and a business-oriented university degree.
