Bunker Operations Manager

Job Summary

  • This role involves collecting and analyzing data to assess the performance of our bunker operations team.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Collect and consolidate data from various sources for accurate analysis.
  2. Analyze data in-depth and calculate key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate team performance.
  3. Deliver timely reports to support strategic decision-making.
  4. Provide bunker-related data to other departments and facilitate meetings.
  5. Support daily bunker operations, including entering the monthly bunker plan into relevant systems.
  6. Liaise with vessels and stakeholders to confirm bunkering arrangements and respond to urgent issues.

Requirements:

  1. Degree in Maritime Studies, Data Analytics, or a related field.
  2. 1-3 years of relevant experience.
  3. Prior seafaring experience as an Assistant Engineer (1st/2nd/3rd); higher ranks and container vessel experience are advantageous.
  4. Strong understanding of shipping operations and bunkering procedures.
  5. Excellent analytical skills with complex data interpretation and actionable insights.
  6. Proficient in Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs, Slides) and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  7. Strong critical thinking and concise reporting abilities.
  8. Effective interpersonal and cross-cultural communication skills.
