Job Title: HR Support Specialist

About the Role:

The organization is seeking a highly skilled and motivated HR Support Specialist to support daily operations within the HR department. This role is a 12-month contract assignment, providing an opportunity for the successful candidate to gain valuable experience in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.


Main Responsibilities:
  • Manage HR functions for staff under different service schemes, ensuring compliance with relevant policies and procedures.
  • Support the implementation of HR initiatives, policies, and guidelines related to career development, talent management, performance management, and recognition.
  • Understand and adapt policy changes to enhance staff management and development, contributing to the organization's overall success.
  • Track staff attendance and completion of compulsory courses, impacting deployment and career progression.
  • Recommend suitable training and development programs to enhance staff skills and competencies.
  • Manage training funds and coordinate certification courses, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and procedures.
  • Provide secretariat support for meetings and ranking sessions, maintaining accurate records and minutes.
  • Offer professional advice on HR matters, ensuring that stakeholders are informed and supported.
  • Support procurement activities related to service awards, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and procedures.
  • Process applications and documentation for staff identification cards, maintaining accurate records and ensuring timely processing.

Talent Requirements:
  • A degree in any field is preferred, but not essential.
  • Strong analytical skills and hands-on experience with HR functions and systems are required.
  • Detail-oriented and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing workload and meeting deadlines.
  • Prior HR knowledge is an advantage, but not essential.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Access, Word, and PowerPoint, with ability to learn new software quickly.
