Job Description

Candidates will collaborate with a team to identify, source, negotiate, and execute business opportunities in new and existing markets.

This position supports Keppel's commitment to sustainable development, involving the development and implementation of sustainable solutions within the data centre sector.

This position reports to the Head of Business & Programme Development and is based in Singapore.

Responsibilities
  • Drive data centre development projects locally and internationally.
  • Contribute to strategic initiatives, including new market entry, partnerships, and decarbonisation efforts.
  • Support the development of sustainable and innovative data centre campuses in Singapore.
  • Engage in sustainability initiatives, working with renewable and low-carbon energy providers.
  • Oversee the investment process from origination to execution, including financial analysis and negotiations.
  • Conduct market research and stay updated on industry trends.
  • Prepare briefing papers and presentation materials for stakeholders.
  • Mentor junior team members and support ad-hoc projects as needed.
Requirements

A Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Economics, Finance, Real Estate, Environmental Engineering, or related fields is required.

8-12 years of relevant experience in business development, real estate, infrastructure, investment banking, renewables, or M&A are necessary.

Strong negotiation and deal-structuring skills, with the ability to engage senior stakeholders, are essential.

The ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple initiatives under tight deadlines, is crucial.

Proficiency in financial, commercial, and risk analysis is required.

Excellent communication and presentation skills; proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint are necessary.

Self-motivated, proactive, and a team player, willing to travel as required, is preferred.
