Join our vibrant community as a Childrens Ministry Program Director and lead the growth of our childrens ministry. With a diverse congregation, you will have the opportunity to minister cross-culturally.
The ideal candidate will have strong leadership and administrative skills, with experience in leading or serving in childrens ministry. They should be able to plan, lead, and evaluate weekly childrens programs, select and adapt biblically sound age-appropriate curriculum, and recruit, train, and schedule volunteers. Building strong relationships with children and their families is also essential.
We are looking for someone who can effectively communicate with parents to support faith development at home, while ensuring all child safety policies and protocols are followed. The successful candidate will collaborate with church staff and pastors to integrate childrens ministry into the life of the church.
Key responsibilities include planning and leading Sunday Service holiday programs special events, recruiting and training volunteers, building relationships with children and their families, communicating with parents, and ensuring child safety policies are followed.
The ideal candidate will possess over 10 years of experience in leading or serving in childrens ministry, church or parachurch setting. They should have strong leadership communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively with a diverse team of volunteers.
A degree in education theology childrens ministry or related field is preferred. Proficiency in English Mandarin and Korean is also beneficial due to the presence of Chinese and Korean-speaking families.
