Job Description
">Overview of the Role
This is a unique opportunity to serve as a Pastoral Team Staff, providing essential pastoral leadership and care to our Youth Ministry. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering various duties and responsibilities that support the overall vision and direction of the Youth Ministry.

Key Responsibilities
1. Plan and coordinate activities, programmes and events for the Youth Ministry in collaboration with the pastor overseeing the Youth Ministry.
2. Engage with youth and their families, volunteers and parents, ensuring effective communication and the smooth running of Youth Ministry activities and events.
3. Recruit, engage, train and equip volunteers and parents to support the Youth Ministry.
4. Plan and facilitate transitions of youth into and out of the Youth Ministry, working closely with other church departments.
5. Provide basic counselling services to youth and volunteers, making referrals when necessary.
6. Support church activities upon approval by the pastor overseeing the Youth Ministry.
7. Participate in church leadership and staff meetings, representing the pastors' office when required.

Qualifications and Experience
The ideal candidate should possess relevant qualifications and experience in a similar field, preferably with theological studies. They must also have aligned values with the Methodist Church's doctrine and social principles.

• Ability to work independently under minimal supervision
• Team player with a willingness to grow through evaluation and feedback
• Understanding of contemporary youth culture and biblical worldview
