AV Engineer Role

This role involves working closely with manufacturers and engineers to implement, design, and support AV solutions in accordance with company standards and best practices.

The ideal candidate will have experience in the AV industry and be proficient in system configuration, testing, and commissioning of integrated audio visual and videoconferencing solutions.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with manufacturers and engineers to implement, design, and support AV solutions in accordance with company standards and best practices.
  • Work with end-users for AV/IT support, including conducting trainings on how to use implemented solutions.
  • System configuration, testing, and commissioning of integrated audio visual and videoconferencing solutions.
  • Conduct end-user trainings to ensure effective solution adoption.
  • Assist in post-deployment support and work closely with in-house AV designers and engineers from different manufacturers.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • ITE/Diploma in IT/Engineering/Audio Visual or equivalent.
  • Experience in the AV industry, preferably in a junior or senior role.
  • Strong understanding of AV systems and technologies.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Benefits:

  • Basic salary: $2,800 - $4,200.
  • Yearly performance bonus.
  • Entitled health insurance, phone allowance, and transport allowance.

Working Environment:

  • Office at Ubi Singapore, with work at client sites across the island.
  • 5-day workweek, Monday to Friday, 9am-6pm, with off-in-lieu arrangements if working on weekends.

Job Scopes:

  • Design and implementation of AV solutions for various venues, such as meeting rooms, lecture rooms, experience centers, command centers, auditoriums, ballrooms, etc.
  • Study schematic drawings to understand technical and functional requirements.
  • Work closely with in-house AV designers and engineers from different manufacturers.
