Job Title: Senior AV Technical Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced AV technical specialist to join our team. As a senior member of the team, you will be responsible for leading presales activities, managing business relationships with partners and suppliers, and attending client meetings to understand their needs and concerns.

  • Lead presales activities such as demos, follow-ups, and managing business relationships with partners and suppliers.
  • Attend client meetings to understand their needs and concerns.
  • Prepare internal reports, sales presentations, and ensure stock availability for sales and demos.
  • Participate in meetings and conferences to represent the company, handle complaints, and troubleshoot issues.
  • Prepare and follow up on sales quotations and purchase orders.
  • Work closely with suppliers, vendors, and stakeholders to negotiate prices and gather customer feedback to improve services.
  • Work closely with management on project-related tasks, including AV initiatives, procurement, and creating schematic drawings.
  • Review colleagues' drawings and offer layout advice.
  • Assist in sourcing AV hardware and software, ensure project needs are met, and maintain project timelines.
  • Handle equipment installation, upgrades, troubleshooting, and repair on-site.
  • Perform electrical wiring, programming, and basic setup tasks.
  • Manage and test CCTV, ELV equipment, Bluetooth devices, and ensure all project tasks are completed on schedule.
  • Provide pre, during, and post-project services, including liaising with clients, conducting quality control, and resolving technical issues.
  • Attend to service calls, offer training, and update documentation.
  • Follow up on billing and costing with finance.
  • Assist management with other company projects and perform any other relevant tasks as required.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Diploma in Audio Visual Technology/ Electrical & Electronic Engineering/ IT/ Computer Engineering with at least 1 year of working experience in relevant industry.
  • Possess initiative and good sense of work responsibility.
  • Understand AV technologies and IT systems on a technical level.
  • Awareness of the latest trends, hardware and features in AV equipment.
