AV Technical Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled AV Technical Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining audio-visual equipment, including projectors, microphones, speakers, and video conferencing systems.

  • Responsibilities include setting up and operating AV equipment for events, meetings, and presentations, as well as troubleshooting and resolving technical issues that may arise during these events.
  • You will also be responsible for installing and configuring AV systems in conference rooms, auditoriums, and other venues, as well as conducting routine maintenance and software updates on AV equipment.
  • In addition, you will provide technical support for live streaming, webinars, and video conferencing platforms, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration among teams and stakeholders.
Requirements
  • To be successful in this role, you will need to have a Higher Nitec in electrical/electronics or certification in Audio-Visual Technology, IT, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an AV technician or similar role is essential, as well as proficiency in operating and troubleshooting AV systems, including soundboards and video mixers.
  • You will also need to have knowledge of video conferencing platforms (Zoom, Microsoft Teams, etc.) and strong problem-solving and technical skills.
  • Able to work independently and in a team, with good communication and customer service skills, is also essential.
