Job Title: 3D Building Information Modeller

As a skilled 3D Building Information Modeller, you will play a key role in assisting the BIM Manager in creating and maintaining high-quality building models that meet project requirements.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering visualisations (VDC) and shop drawings to support construction works. You will also extract key data from project models for quantity take-off, logistics and other purposes.

Additionally, you will prepare design drawings using BIM and CAD technologies for building construction, liaise and coordinate with subcontractors and other trades for cross-team support on BIM software and ensure all models are compatible and BIM data is available to all project participants.

You will work collaboratively with teams and relevant departments to ensure all drawings are accurate and submitted as per design requirements. This includes coordinating with other trades to resolve clashes/interfacing issues, interfacing with peers from other trades to resolve basic modelling issues and producing documentation for record and submission related to BIM processes.

Furthermore, you will support the Project Team in managing RFIs and making presentations with BIM models.

Key Skills and Qualifications:
  • A strong understanding of specifications, drawings, scope and sequence of works.
  • Ability to interpret construction drawings for discrepancies.
  • Identify areas of concern with design intent.
  • Familiarity with architectural, structural and M&E drawings.
  • Awareness of regulatory requirements.
  • Degree in Engineering (Civil), Architecture or equivalent.
  • At least 1 year of experience in the related field.
  • Proficiency in Revit, Microstation, AECOsim, AutoCAD.

Technical Requirements:

This role requires proficiency in Revit, Microstation, AECOsim and AutoCAD. The ideal candidate will have experience working with these software packages and be able to produce high-quality designs and models.
