Maintenance and Engineering Coordination Role
As a skilled Maintenance and Engineering Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth execution of building projects. Your primary responsibility will be to coordinate and manage the Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) aspects of these projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Interpret specifications and combined services drawings accurately, identifying discrepancies and performing calculations for levels.
  • Ensure all M&E queries and discrepancies are documented and resolved through written communication via 'Request For Information / Request For Approval'.
  • Submit and obtain approval of samples and shop drawings from consultants.
  • Produce, compile, and issue M&E documents, shop drawings, and as-built drawings to consultants for approval, then distribute approved documents and drawings to sites for construction.
  • Collaborate closely with structural and architectural trades for effective execution of interface responsibilities and associated works.
  • Submit method statements of specialist sub-contractors to QEHS section for evaluation and corresponding QEHS inputs prior to consultant approval.
  • Manage the registration and distribution of M&E construction drawings and revisions, if any.
  • Plan, coordinate, and implement overall M&E site works with M&E sub-contractors and other related trades.
  • Identify and resolve M&E on-site problems.
  • Possess proper training in QEHS Policy, Objectives, impact/risk assessment, relevant safe work procedures/operational control procedures, management programmes, applicable legal requirements.


Requirements:
  • Degree in Mechanical and/or Electrical Engineering.
  • 2-3 years' experience in local building projects.
  • Experience with building electrical, sanitary, and plumbing works.
  • Knowledge of BIM/VDC is advantageous.
