Job Title: Maintenance and Engineering Coordinator

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance and Engineering Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and managing all maintenance and engineering works to ensure timely completion, quality standards, and adherence to regulations.

  • Coordinate and manage all maintenance and engineering works to ensure timely completion, quality standards, and adherence to regulations.
  • Supervise and ensure compliance with safety regulations, codes of practice, and relevant standards during maintenance and engineering works.
  • Prepare and submit material and sample submissions for approval.
  • Review and check construction drawings for discrepancies, defects, or inconsistencies.
  • Conduct site inspections to monitor progress and quality of work.
  • Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors, and project teams for seamless coordination on maintenance and engineering design and construction issues.
  • Assist with the preparation of E&M niche drawings and temporary design drawings.
  • Coordinate with the architect and structural consultant for design coordination.
  • Support the Design Manager and Project Director with urgent maintenance and engineering-related works.
  • Attend project meetings, assist in conducting coordination meetings, and document meeting minutes.
  • Maintain proper document control and filing for all maintenance and engineering-related documents.
  • Resolve maintenance and engineering-related technical issues and discrepancies on site.
Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have a degree or diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or a relevant discipline. A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in the construction industry, with a preference for experience in civil projects is required.

  • Strong coordination and communication skills, with a proven ability to manage field staff and technical tasks.
