Job Title: Manufacturing Equipment/Production Specialist

About the Job

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Manufacturing Equipment/Production Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, scheduling, and implementing new tool installations, relocations, and chamber retrofits to enhance equipment performance and drive continuous improvement in our manufacturing process.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical, electrical, or materials engineering, with experience in cleanroom wafer fabs and semiconductor manufacturing. Excellent organizational, coordination, and leadership skills are essential, as well as the ability to motivate team members from multiple sites and different backgrounds.

Responsibilities
  • Plan, schedule, and implement new tool installations, relocations, and chamber retrofits to enhance equipment performance and drive continuous improvement in our manufacturing process.
  • Maintain current records on equipment manufacturers' technical notices, upgrades, and safety issues.
  • Study equipment performance and reliability, establishing programs and solutions for increasing uptime and resolving equipment problems that affect the manufacturing process.
  • Provide technical support to the manufacturing equipment repair and process engineering organizations.
  • Define and write preventative maintenance schedules.
  • Develop and implement equipment maintenance procedures and schedules.
  • Work with process owners to develop, prioritize, and manage projects to reduce defects, improve availability, and find solutions to ongoing problems.
  • Serve as liaison between facilities, vendor reps, and shift personnel.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or Materials Engineering from a recognized institute of higher learning.
  • Experience in cleanroom wafer fabs and semiconductor manufacturing preferred.
  • Excellent organizational, coordination, and leadership skills, with ability to motivate team members from multiple sites and different backgrounds.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
