Data Centre Outsourcing Risk & Compliance Specialist

At OCBC Bank, we are seeking an experienced Data Centre Outsourcing Risk & Compliance Specialist to join our Group Technology Services team. As a key member of the department, you will play a vital role in managing outsourcing risk and compliance in our data centre operations.

  1. Contribute to strategic initiatives and support management in driving department transformation – As a valued member of the team, you will have the opportunity to actively contribute to strategic initiatives and drive transformative changes within the department.
  2. Be part of the transformation team to change the way we work in data centre and its operations – You will play a vital role in driving change and innovation within the data centre and its operations, actively participating in identifying areas for improvement and implementing new processes.
  3. Plan and manage company's overall outsourcing requirements for archival and bulk printing of reports and statements – You will be responsible for strategizing and overseeing the outsourcing process for archiving and printing reports and statements, ensuring efficient and timely delivery.
  4. Perform constant reviews to understand and align company's operational needs with the requirements in managing customer's requirement on report and statement printing – You will regularly assess and align the operational needs of the company with the specific requirements of customers regarding report and statement printing, ensuring a seamless and customer-centric approach.
  5. Build strong relationships with key vendors and suppliers to leverage better customer service, cost efficiency and quality in the delivery – You will establish and nurture strong partnerships with vendors and suppliers, fostering collaborative relationships to enhance customer service, optimize costs, and maintain high-quality standards in the delivery process.
  6. Manage yearly budgets depending on sourcing and maintenance needs by negotiating price and controlling costs – You will be responsible for managing the yearly budgets related to sourcing and maintenance, utilizing your negotiation skills to secure favorable pricing and effectively control costs.
  7. Analyse and make suggestions for improvement of overall sourcing strategy – Through careful analysis, you will identify areas for improvement in the overall sourcing strategy, providing valuable insights and recommendations to optimise efficiency and effectiveness.
  8. Manage outsourcing documentations for financial and compliance submissions – You will oversee the documentation process for outsourcing, ensuring compliance with financial and regulatory requirements, and submitting necessary documentation accurately and on time.
  9. Be well-informed of industry and market trends and best practices in the archival and outsourced printing areas – You will stay up to date with the latest industry and market trends, as well as best practices in archival and outsourced printing, enabling you to make informed decisions and implement innovative approaches.
  10. Manage compliance guidelines and regulations in executing OSPAR and compliance reporting to Group Operational Risk Management – You will ensure adherence to compliance guidelines and regulations, particularly in executing OSPAR and compliance reporting, working closely with the group operational risk management team.

Qualifications

  1. Diploma or bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or similar relevant field
  2. Relevant working experience as an Outsourcing Manager or an Operations Manager or similar field
  3. Proficiency in Python programming language
  4. Hands-on experience with outsourcing, financial and compliance documentation preparations and submissions
  5. Experience in SQL and R/Python (Or other tools for statistical analysis) and data visualisation tools for statistical reporting is an added advantage
  6. Proficiency in UI/UX design principles and methodologies
  7. Experience in designing user-friendly interfaces and enhancing user experience
  8. Ability to translate complex information into intuitive and visually appealing infographics
