We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced semiconductor process expert to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in guiding products through the entire lifecycle, from initial concept to final qualification.

As a semiconductor process expert, you will be responsible for optimizing product recipes to ensure peak performance tailored to our customer's needs. You will collaborate with our globally recognized R&D teams and work directly with customers in their fabrication facilities to create cutting-edge solutions.

Process experts like yourself work across technologies such as chemical vapor deposition, atomic layer deposition, plasma reactive ion etch, physical vapor deposition, anneal and implant. Your skills and expertise will enable us to deliver innovative solutions that meet our customer's requirements.

To succeed in this role, you will need to have:

  • A degree in engineering studies
  • At least 3 years of experience in the semiconductor industry
  • Prior work experience in a technical support or field service role is an added advantage
  • Resourceful and proactive mindset with ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues efficiently
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with customers and colleagues
  • Ability to provide excellent customer service and build rapport with clients

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Serving as liaison between the customer and the Business Unit for assigned projects, ensuring clear understanding of customer issues and delivery of applicable solutions
  2. Providing highly visible customer support through the performance of on-site installation, as well as overseeing any necessary diagnoses, troubleshooting, service, and repair of complex equipment and systems
  3. Working closely with customer to optimize tool performance to meet customer process and integration requirements
  4. Checks and approves operational quality of system equipment
  5. Instructs customers in the operation and maintenance of the system
