Process Development Specialist

The role of Process Development Specialist is to support the setup and implementation of our next-generation semiconductor manufacturing line.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review existing R&D processes and transfer knowledge to pilot production. Develop a comprehensive checklist for successful process and material transfer.
  • Design, collect data, analyze and compile reports on complex process engineering experiments for multiple products within safety guidelines.
  • Collaborate with R&D and production teams to ensure timely completion of project milestones.
  • Track and manage schedules, deliverables and risks for technology transfer and production projects. Develop and execute process engineering projects within safety guidelines.
  • Coordinate training with R&D engineers. Train in measurement techniques, guide engineers in interpreting data, new methodologies and troubleshooting techniques. Resolve complex process engineering issues and interact with customers to resolve issues with minimal supervision.
  • Design and implement new technologies, products and analytical instrumentation. Characterize hardware, define methods and apply new technologies to characterize hardware and perform hardware characterization on complex systems for multiple products within safety guidelines.
  • Generate internal and external documentation for products, presentations, technical reports and process specifications.
  • Support tool and process qualifications at HVM site.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of semiconductor manufacturing processes and industry standards including deposition, etch, lithography and metrology.
  • Ability to work across time zones and collaborate with remote teams. Support factory-side execution.
  • Discipline tracking and driving deliverables to completion.
  • Flexibility to travel between locations (up to 30% of the time).
