Semiconductor Process Engineer

Job Overview

As a key member of our production team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our wafer fabrication diffusion equipment. Your analytical skills and attention to detail will be essential in troubleshooting and resolving issues that impact production quality and efficiency.

We are seeking an experienced semiconductor process engineer to join our team. If you have a passion for working with complex technical systems and a drive to continuously improve processes, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

Responsibilities
  1. Perform regular maintenance and troubleshooting of wafer fabrication diffusion equipment including implanters, vertical/horizontal furnaces, RTO/RTP platforms, Laser RTP systems, and EPI.
  2. Monitor and address in-line SPC/defect/equipment abnormality and lot handling in a timely manner.
  3. Maintain equipment capability for production and meet production demand.
  4. Collaborate with production line and process engineers to balance tool availability for production, troubleshooting, and scheduled maintenance.
  5. Engage in equipment troubleshooting and production quality improvement initiatives.
  6. Evaluate new equipment/materials and retrofits for better efficiency and production quality.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering (Electronic Engineering, Electrical Electronic Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Automation, Aerospace Engineering).
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to think critically.
  • Excellent communication and time management skills.
  • Prior leadership or competition experience is an advantage.
  • Willingness to commit to shift work.
  • At least 2 years of relevant working experience in the semiconductor industry foundry.
