Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled BIM professional to work on a major MRT infrastructure project in Singapore. The successful candidate will focus on Mechanical & Electrical aspects, using Building Information Modelling technologies to enhance design, coordination, and construction processes.

Main Responsibilities:
  • BIM Modeling & Coordination:
    • Create detailed 3D BIM models for M&E systems, ensuring accuracy and adherence to project specifications.
    • Coordinate M&E disciplines with other trades to resolve clashes and conflicts through clash detection tools.
    • Develop detailed BIM execution plans for M&E systems, ensuring workflows align with project timelines and deliverables.
  • Design Support & Documentation:
    • Assist in integrating M&E design systems and coordinate with engineers to ensure accurate representation in BIM models.
    • Prepare and maintain accurate project documentation, including as-built models and system specifications.
  • Collaboration & Communication:
    • Serve as liaison between the M&E team and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and project progress.
    • Attend regular project coordination meetings and provide technical support for BIM-related queries and issues.
  • Quality Control & Compliance:
    • Conduct quality control checks on BIM models for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to project specifications.
    • Ensure all BIM models and data comply with the client's BIM execution plan and local regulatory requirements.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
  • Education:
    • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in Building Information Modelling (BIM), specifically in the Mechanical & Electrical trade, preferably on large-scale infrastructure projects.
Key Skills & Competencies:
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency in Revit MEP for modeling M&E systems.
    • Familiarity with coordination tools like Navisworks and BIM 360.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
    • Strong problem-solving abilities.
    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Familiarity with Singapore's building regulations, codes of practice, and BIM standards is required.
