About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced engineer to join our team as an Air Traffic Management System Integration Engineer. As a key member of our multi-disciplinary team, you will be responsible for performing system integration for the next generation Air Traffic Management Systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Manage the operations and maintenance of network infrastructures such as the Fibre network, Data Bridge, and System Wide Information Management (SWIM) to ensure the safe provision of Air Navigation Services (ANS) in accordance with international standards and industry best practices.
  • Stakeholder Management: Work closely with various internal and external stakeholders, including operational and technical users, consultants, system owners, auditors, regulators, original equipment manufacturers, vendors, and contractors throughout the entire system lifecycle from project initiation to system replacement.
  • Project Delivery: Undertake project management activities, including planning and budgeting, project tracking, contract variations, and change request management, to ensure the overall quality and integrity of the project delivery.
  • Network and System Integration: Perform network and system integration activities, including Application Programming Interface (API) and network infrastructure administration and management.
  • System Procurement: Participate in system procurement activities, including the preparation of tender documentation, vendor evaluation, and technical reviews.
  • System Implementation: Implement and deploy systems, including activities such as testing, commissioning, and software upgrade activities.
  • Travel and Training: Willing and able to travel and attend local and/or overseas trainings, seminars, workshops, and meetings, when required.
Requirements
  • Discipline: Trained in one of the following disciplines: Software Engineering, Electrical/Electronics/Computer Engineering, or Information Systems Management.
  • Knowledge and Experience: Possess knowledge and experience on network infrastructure design, operations, and deployment, management of network switches, firewalls, and use of network management tools.
  • Technical Skills: Possess knowledge in open standards, TCP/IP, HTTPS, AMQP, REST, SOLACE, DNS, Fibre Optics technology, Telecommunications standards, Linux/Windows environment, etc.
  • Cybersecurity: Good understanding of High Availability, Resiliency, and Disaster Recovery and familiar with Cybersecurity principles and IT risk management.
  • Policies and Guidelines: Good understanding of relevant policies from respective Code of Practices, guidelines, and best practices (e.g. IMDA's COPIF, CSA's CCoP, and Govtech's IM8) and be able to apply during project implementation.
  • Personal Qualities: Self-motivated, driven, assertive, and analytical, with a positive work attitude and ability to work well in a team and independently.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal, written communication, and presentation skills.
