Role Overview
The Product Owner (PO) will spearhead and provide technical guidance for a multidisciplinary team operating within a SAFe framework. The PO is tasked with the allocation and prioritization of ATM functionalities to epics, ensuring maximum value delivery by the team while aligning the team backlog with business objectives as defined by the Initiative Owner (IO).
The PO will collaborate with key stakeholders, including solution architects, specialty engineers (Safety, Security, Human Factors), and ATM subject matter experts to prepare and implement requirement and design modifications, adhering to a defined system functional baseline to meet customer needs and project cost targets.

- Prioritize the team backlog to streamline the execution of program priorities and ensure alignment with business objectives as defined by the Initiative Owner.
- Define and verify the Definition of Ready (DoR) and the Definition of Done (DoD) for units of work.
- Synthesize information from various sources.
- Proactively identify, in collaboration with the Scrum Master, any necessary upskilling required within the team.
- Design and maintain systems engineering artifacts for the ATM function, including requirements, capability descriptions, functional behavior, and data exchanges.
- Ensure transversal constraints related to the function are considered (Safety, Human Factors, Performance, Security).
- Contribute to technical reviews and the definition of the validation strategy.
- Provide technical oversight to other teams within the project, ensuring that the designed solution is implemented according to the design and project schedule, cost, and quality constraints.
- Support the Engineering Delivery Manager (EDM) by providing timely inputs to maintain the master schedule.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, IT, or a related field.
- Postgraduate studies in Systems Engineering (desirable).
- Experience in Air Traffic Management across various functional areas.
- Proven experience in Systems Engineering (7+ years), including Requirements, Design, Integration, and Verification and Validation.

- Proven experience as a Product Owner within an Agile framework.
- Knowledge of Safety, Security, and Human Factors standards and practices.

- Strong coaching and knowledge-sharing capabilities.
- Proficient in managing diverse stakeholders with varying objectives.
- Possess a positive attitude, excellent interpersonal, and motivational skills.
