In the Aviation sector, Egis is actively engaged in several Air Traffic Management initiatives in the Asia Pacific region and aims to expand its portfolio. To support this ambition, we are seeking to strengthen our team with a centralized Asia competency center.
Job Responsibilities
You will be responsible for assisting our clients in the comprehensive design of complex safety-critical systems, drafting requirements tailored to client needs, and engaging in client-facing activities. This role necessitates a solid understanding of ATM systems and architecture, along with system engineering principles. You will also collaborate with various stakeholders to contribute to the advancement of both existing and future Air Traffic Management systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop high-level system designs that align with customer business and operational requirements,
- Specify requirements for system functionalities,
- Design and implement verification and validation processes,
- Review and validate data provided by suppliers to support safety arguments,
- Assist in regulatory approvals and certification processes,
- Support audits conducted by the quality assurance team,
- Engage with clients to realize their objectives.
Candidate Profile
Education and Training
- A bachelor's degree in Engineering Science or a related field from a recognized institution;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint);
- Strong command of written and spoken English.
Experience
- 3 to 6 years of post-qualification experience in systems engineering;
- Demonstrated experience in system design, system engineering, or software engineering, preferably within the Air Traffic Management domain;
- Comprehensive understanding of the advantages and limitations of various technical design options, along with a broad knowledge of technology architecture;
- Ability to comprehend customer interactions, needs, and operations, translating these into requirements and design solutions;
- A proven track record of involvement in complex programs.
