Business Performance Analyst - Southeast Asia Role

This position entails driving business performance analysis to support management decision-making. As the successful candidate will be required to possess strong business proficiency in Korean language, effective communication skills with headquarters and regional counterparts are essential.

  • The role involves aggregating large data sets from subsidiaries across Southeast Asia to create sales & profit reports.
  • Financial performance monitoring, profitability analysis, cost drivers identification, and variances explanation from rolling forecasts, management plans, and past years are key responsibilities.
  • Insights extraction from reports, commentary generation, and PowerPoint presentation creation for management reporting are also part of this role.
  • The individual will actively liaise with subsidiary teams and regional product managers to uncover P&L variances.
  • Process development and improvement related to financial planning and reporting are additional duties.
  • Presentation preparation, presentation leading, and external meeting attendance are also necessary tasks.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business Administration is required.
  • Fluent Korean (Speaking/Writing) and English language proficiency, with business-level Korean proficiency, is a must.
  • At least 7 years of managerial experience is necessary.
  • Strong MS Office Skills, particularly Word, Excel, and PPT, are required.
  • Excellent communication skills to engage stakeholders and present results to management are essential.
