Air Freight Operations Executive/Supervisor Role

We are seeking an experienced Air Freight Operations Executive/Supervisor to manage our import/export shipments efficiently. Key responsibilities include preparing necessary documents, such as HBL/HAWB, Mbl/MAWB, and manifest.

  • Manage import/export shipments efficiently by preparing necessary documents.
  • Prepare accurate and timely shipping supporting documentations for exports, including invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, air waybills, certificates of origin, and letters of credit.
  • Coordinate with customers, shipping agents, sub-contractors, port agents, and truckers to arrange transportation for imports and exports.
  • Monitor daily export shipment/delivery requirements and maintain customer contacts for quality service provision.
  • Close profit/loss statements within deadlines.
  • Responsible for warehouse receiving, labeling, and releasing tasks.
  • Maintain adherence to in-house customer requirements.
  • Ensure proper information flow with sales on changes or problems with external customers, focusing on air freight concerns.
  • Promptly declare and provide accurate information to carriers or co-loaders.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of freight forwarding experience.
  • Import and Export Air Freight experience is an advantage.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Knowledge of Air Import/Export regulations and documents.
  • Multi-tasking, prioritizing, and effective time management skills.
  • Exceptional customer service and follow-up skills.
  • Able to commit 5.5 days a week with shift hours.
  • DG (Dangerous Goods) certification is preferred.
