Lead Logistics Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Logistics Engineering Manager to oversee the implementation of IT infrastructure improvements and automation technologies to enhance workflow efficiency and inventory accuracy. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with local and international regulations, staying up-to-date on emerging trends and technologies in logistics engineering, automation, and supply chain management.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage teams of engineers to design, implement, and maintain logistics systems and workflows, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance.
  • Implement and manage automation systems, including Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), robotics, and material handling technologies, improving productivity and reducing costs.
  • Develop and maintain expertise in emerging trends and technologies in logistics engineering, automation, and supply chain management, driving innovation and competitiveness.
  • Stay current with industry standards and best practices, incorporating new knowledge and insights into our operations.
  • Ensure adherence to all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies, maintaining a culture of compliance and integrity.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in logistics engineering, with a strong consulting or project management background in the warehouse technology space.
  • Lean Six Sigma Certification preferred, with PMP Certification also desirable.
  • Proficiency in tools like SAP, Oracle, or other enterprise resource planning (ERP) software systems that manage logistics and inventory control, with a strong understanding of data analysis and statistical tools.
Technical Skills:
  • Strong proficiency in logistics software systems, including SAP, Oracle, WMS, and Transportation Management Systems (TMS).
  • Expertise in automation systems, including robotics, automated sorting systems, conveyors, and AS/RS.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and statistical tools, such as Excel, Power BI, Tableau, R, and Python.
  • Understanding of project management software, including MS Project, Asana, and Jira.
  • Advanced proficiency in simulation software, including AutoCAD and AnyLogic, for designing logistics systems and workflows.
