Maintaining and supporting backend equipment operations is a crucial aspect of our manufacturing process. The ideal candidate for this position will be responsible for setup, repairs, and preventive maintenance of various equipment at our backend operations.



Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment such as Laser Marking, Ball Attach, Reflow Oven, Dicing, AOI, Tape and Reel, and Packing station.
  • Provide line sustaining supports to manufacturing teams by offering machine conversion, device setup, and jig and tool maintenance services.
  • Document and perform equipment preventive maintenance according to established processes and specifications.
  • Support the engineering group in device and recipe creation, equipment buy-off, evaluation, qualification, and new product introduction initiatives.
  • Participate in continuous improvement activities to enhance yield, modify equipment, and improve productivity.

Requirements:

To excel in this role, candidates should possess the following skills and qualifications:


  • Diploma in Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical/Mechatronics/Chemical/Material Science or equivalent.
  • Strong interest in semiconductor backend processes and equipment.
  • Prior hands-on experience in semiconductor backend operations or similar high-volume manufacturing environments would be beneficial.
  • Understanding of equipment operation principles, such as Laser Marking, AOI, Dicing, Reflow, or Packaging, is an asset.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, ability to work independently and collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
  • Good communication and documentation skills; able to read and interpret equipment manuals, specifications, and technical drawings.
