Job Title: Equipment Specialist - Backend Operations

Overview:

  • We are seeking a skilled Equipment Specialist to join our team and oversee the maintenance, repair, and optimization of complex backend equipment.

Responsibilities:

  1. Maintenance and repairs of high-volume manufacturing equipment, including laser marking, ball attach, reflow oven, dicing, AOI, tape and reel, and packing station equipment.
  2. Troubleshoot technical issues and provide line sustaining support to ensure smooth production operations.
  3. Perform routine equipment maintenance tasks and document results in accordance with established procedures.
  4. Collaborate with engineering teams to develop new devices and recipes, driving innovation and productivity growth.
  5. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives focused on yield enhancement, equipment optimization, and process efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Degree in electrical/electronics/mechatronics/chemical/material science or equivalent.
  • Strong understanding of semiconductor backend processes and equipment principles.
  • Prior experience in high-volume manufacturing environments with hands-on knowledge of equipment operation is advantageous.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with ability to work independently and collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
  • Effective communication and documentation skills.
