Senior Mechanical Engineer Specialist

The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of Mechanical Engineering principles, with a strong focus on M&E works and Green Mark requirements.

We are seeking an experienced professional with a proven track record in leading tender processes, managing project lifecycles, and providing technical expertise to drive successful mechanical services tenders and projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the preparation and submission of mechanical services tenders, reviewing technical specifications, cost estimates, and project timelines.
  • Take charge of mechanical services tenders from initial stages through pre-contract and post-contract administration duties.
  • Conduct detailed evaluations to ensure compliance with project requirements and offer valuable insights during tender evaluations.
  • Suggest value engineering solutions for mechanical services to enhance project efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Liaise with consultants, attend site visits, and participate in tender briefings and meetings to drive team success.
  • Plan and execute strategies with the tender team to achieve key performance indicators.
  • Assist in creating project write-ups, manpower histograms, and project schedules using Microsoft Project software.
  • Provide calculations in hydraulics, pump head, static pressure, and heat load, and review technical submissions for compliance.

The ideal candidate will have 8-10 years of working experience in the Mechanical Services field, demonstrating growth and expertise. A degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services is required, with knowledge in Design & Build and ability to conduct engineering design and calculations. Professional certification as a registered Professional Engineer with the PE Board is highly valued.

  • Educational background: Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services.
  • Professional certification: Registered Professional Engineer with the PE Board.
  • Relevant experience: 8-10 years of working experience in the Mechanical Services field.
  • Technical knowledge: Strong understanding of M&E works, Green Mark requirements, planning capabilities, and familiarity with authorities and statutory compliance.
  • Software proficiency: Skilled in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Project.
