Job Title: Senior Mechanical Design Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mechanical Design Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our engineering department, you will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing mechanical systems that meet the highest industry standards.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering, with experience in design, analysis, and testing of mechanical systems. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining complex mechanical designs, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, from conceptual design to detailed engineering, and will be expected to stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain complex mechanical designs, including 2D and 3D models, drawings, and specifications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, manufacturing, and quality assurance, to ensure design integrity and manufacturability.
  • Analyze and troubleshoot mechanical system performance issues, using software tools such as computational fluid dynamics (CFD) and finite element analysis (FEA).
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and company policies.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical design and development, preferably in a consulting or contracting firm.
  • Strong knowledge of design software, including CAD, CAE, and simulation tools.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with ability to work effectively in a team environment.
