Job Description

This role involves identifying opportunities for cooperation with key academic organizations, such as IEEE and ACM, to leverage valuable resources aligned with business goals.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Academic Partnerships: Conduct research through academic conferences, collecting and analyzing information on new technologies, and publishing insights online.
  2. Conference Organization: Collaborate with the APAC team to plan and execute academic conferences and workshops, supporting cooperation activities and fostering relationships with stakeholders.
  3. Technology Scouting: Maintain a timely review process, follow up on enquiries, and provide monthly status updates.
  4. Cross-Cultural Collaboration: Work directly with Chinese-speaking officers, stakeholders, counterparts, and customers in China HQ, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
  5. Ad-Hoc Support: Provide assistance with other tasks as required.
Requirements
  • Education: A Master's or Doctoral degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering, or a strong background in computer science, math, or software engineering.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills, with the ability to articulate technology insights clearly.
  • Passion for Innovation: A passion for new technologies and their applications.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Mandarin Proficiency: Proficiency in Mandarin is essential for effective communication with Chinese-speaking stakeholders.
  • Teamwork: Demonstrate high levels of responsibility, professionalism, and teamwork.
  • Travel: May require business travel to other APAC countries, depending on business needs.
