Job Summary

  • Lead the procurement of raw materials for production
  • Coordinate the movement of goods from contract manufacturers to customers
  • Manage inventory and a vast network of suppliers

Key Accountabilities:

  1. Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and contract manufacturers
  2. Ensure timely deliveries to meet customer expectations

  5. Design and implement comprehensive training programs
  6. Analyze shipping and delivery data to identify optimization opportunities
  7. Monitor and control inventory levels

  10. Facilitate regular stocktaking activities
  11. Oversee shipping logistics to ensure seamless operations
  12. Track and report operational performance metrics
  13. Resolve complex operational issues
  14. Collaborate with stakeholders to achieve common goals

Essential Requirements

  • Minimum diploma in logistics, supply chain management, or business management
  • At least 5 years of experience in a relevant field
  • Proven expertise in supply chain management within a manufacturing context
  • Familiarity with enterprise resource planning systems
  • Excellent analytical and negotiation skills
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal abilities
  • Effective communication and problem-solving skills
  • Highly organized and result-driven
